Whenever you share your workbook with others you need to always make sure that there are no spelling errors. MS Excel 2016 has got Spell Check tool which can be used for making sure that everything typed into your worksheet is spelled correctly. • 1^st of all you need to click the Spelling command from the Review tab.
• The Spelling dialog box will appear and for every error in your worksheet Spell Check will offer you various suggestions for correct spelling. You need to select the suggestion and click Change for correcting the error.
• A dialog box will appear after reviewing all spelling errors. Now click on OK to close the Spell Check.

Ignoring Spelling Errors:

The Spell Check is not necessarily always correct and sometimes it will mark certain words as incorrect even of they are spelled correctly. This issue will happen with the names which may not be included in dictionary. You can select not to change a spelling error using one of the following three options:

Ignore Once: This option will skip the word without changing it.

Ignore All: This option will skip the word without changing it and also skip all other instances of the word in your worksheet.

Add: This option will add the word to the dictionary so that it will never appear as an error while you type it in your worksheet.

Hyperlinks in any document will guide you to some websites and email addresses. There are various different ways for inserting hyperlinks into your documents. Depending upon how you want your link to appear you can use Word’s automatic link formatting or convert text into a link. Hyperlink has got two basic parts which are the address of the webpage and the display text. Formatting Text with a Hyperlink:

• 1^st of all select the text you want to format as a hyperlink.
• Now select the Insert tab and then click the Hyperlink command.
• You will notice that Insert Hyperlink dialog box appear.
• The selected text will appear in the Text to Display: field at the top.You can change the text if you want.
• In the Address: field you need to type the address which you want to link to and then click on OK.
• The text will be formatted as a hyperlink.

Editing and Removing Hyperlinks:

Once the hyperlink is inserted you can easily edit, open, copy and remove it by right clicking over it.

• For removing the hyperlink you need to right click the hyperlink and select Remove Hyperlink from the menu which appears.

Text boxes can be used for drawing the user’s attention towards the specific text. Text boxes can also be used for moving the text around in your document. Inserting a Text Box:

• 1^st of all you need to select the Insert tab and then click on the Text Box command in the Text group.
• After this a drop-down menu will appear here select Draw Text Box.
• Now click and drag anywhere on the document for creating the text box.
• The Insertion point will appear inside the text box and now you can type for creating text inside the text box.
• Now in the next step you can select the text and then can change the font, color and size by using the commands on the Format and Home tabs.
• Now in order to return to the document just click anywhere outside the text box.

Moving a Text Box:

For moving the text box you need to follow these simple steps.

• 1^st of all you need to click the text box which you want to move.
• Now hover the mouse over one of the edges of the text box. The mouse cursor will change into a cross with arrows.
• Now click and drag the text box to the desired location.

Resizing a Text Box:

For resizing your text box you need to follow these simple steps.

• 1^st of all you need to click the text box which you want to resize.
• Now click and drag any of the sizing handles on the corners or sides of the text box until you get your desired size.
